OUR GENERAL BUDGET SUPPORTS LOCAL AND GLOBAL MISSION WORK. JOYFULLY GIVE AND HELP SPREAD THE GOOD NEWS.

When you give to the FBCMI general budget, you are financially partnering with mission work all over the world. A heavily prioritized 10% of our general budget is designated for local and global mission partners. And when we exceed our expected giving, we send even more. This chart is a general overview of where your giving goes and the great number of ministries, organizations, and missionaries that it serves... all to spread the good news of Jesus Christ.

Is God calling you to service beyond where you live, work, learn, and play? There are so many places to serve on our campus, with ministries in our community, and with internationl organizations. Take these opportunites to learn more about what God has been doing in our world AND show you new ways to get involved. Consider attending these upcoming events...                     

LEARN AND SERVE - 10/6 @ 4:00PM

Several different local mission partners will share more about who they are serving, and how you can get involved in those ministries. This is a great opportunity to ask questions and celebrate all the things you didn't know God was up to.

GO NIGHT - 10/9 @ 6:00PM

Gather together to celebrate what God is doing abroad. We will hear from FBCMI missionaries, international missionary partners, and a representative from the IMB. Greg Queen will be there to speak about the SBC's international mission organization. God has called each of us to care for the nations; that every man woman and child might hear the Good News of Jesus. Come and learn how you can participate in spreading the Gospel, no matter where in the world you are.

75 YEARS ON GOSPEL MISSION TOGETHER 

In 1949, First Baptist Church Merritt Island was planted so that a community of believers could bring the good news of Jesus Christ to Brevard County. 75 years later, we are still on that mission. Buy a shirt and help celebrate and commemorate the many years of God's faithfulness.  They will be available in Main Street starting September 29th.
